Figure 7-1 Loading capacity of the digital outputs per mounting position
The following trends shows the load rating of the digital outputs when technology functions
If the maximum voltage at the inputs is 24 V, all the digital inputs may be simultaneously at
high level (corresponds to 100% of the digital inputs).
If the maximum voltage at the inputs is 30 V, only 12 digital inputs of 16 digital inputs of one
group may be simultaneously at high level (corresponds to 75% of the digital inputs).
General technical specifications
For information on the general technical specifications, such as standards and approvals,
electromagnetic compatibility, protection class, etc., refer to the S7-1500, ET 200MP system
This appendix contains the dimension drawings of the compact CPU installed on a mounting
rail. You must take the dimensions into consideration for installation in cabinets, control
rooms, etc.You have the option of reassigning parameters for the analog on-board I/O in RUN (for
example, measuring ranges of individual channels can be modified in RUN without affecting
the other channels).
Changing parameters in RUN
The parameters are transferred to the analog on-board I/O via data records with the WRREC
instruction. The parameters set with STEP 7 (TIA Portal) are not changed in the CPU, which
means that the parameters set in STEP 7 (TIA Portal) will be valid again after a restart.
The parameters are checked for plausibility by the analog on-board I/O only after the
transfer.
Output parameter STATUS
If errors occur when transferring parameters with the "WRREC" instruction, the analog onboard
I/O continues operation with the previous parameter assignment. However, a
corresponding error code is written to the STATUS output parameter.
You will find a description of the "WRREC" instruction and the error codes in the STEP 7
(TIA Portal) online helpused in dependence on the ambient temperature.
The following figure shows the load rating of the current for encoder supplies of digital inputs. The parameters for the 5 analog input channels are located in data records 0 to 4 and are
assigned as follows:
● Data record 0 for channel 0
● Data record 1 for channel 1
● Data record 2 for channel 2
● Data record 3 for channel 3
