The following interface modules are required for fail-safe I/O modules in ET 200MP :

To configure and program fail-safe I/O modules /ET 200MP , you need:
● STEP 7 (TIA Portal) as of V13 SP1
● The option package STEP 7 Safety Advanced as of V13 SP1 + HSP0086You can only use the /ET 200MP fail-safe I/O modules in safety mode. They cannot
be used in non-fail-safe mode, i.e. standard mode.Fail-safe I/O modules are equipped with integrated safety functions for safety mode.
You can achieve the safety classes of the table below:
